<p>Authorities in Lake Worth just issued a statement regarding the <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/650596-tekashi-6ix9ine-jumped-inside-of-gym-bathroom-footage-surfaces-online" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">assault</a> on 6ix9ine that took place on Tuesday (March 21). Moreover, South Florida police posted via Twitter that they seek help in this case and are accepting any information. Given the rapper&#8217;s reputation as a snitch, which likely fueled the attack, it became a curious turn of events. Still, it&#8217;s no reason to brutally beat the &#8220;GUMMO&#8221; artist, as is shown in various social media clips surfacing online. Following that, on Wednesday (March 22), the Palm Beach County Sheriff&#8217;s Office addressed the situation.</p>



<p>&#8220;Last night, our deputies responded to an incident at LA Fitness (8000 Block of <a href="/profile/Lantana" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Lantana</a> Rd) in Lake Worth,&#8221; the official police statement read. &#8220;An altercation occurred between several individuals, leaving [6ix9ine] Daniel Hernandez injured. Hernandez was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.&#8221; Moreover, he was <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/650781-6ix9ine-locked-in-a-room-after-gym-attack-report" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">locked in a room by gym staff</a> after the incident, who rushed him to safety. &#8220;We need your help!&#8221; the statement continued. &#8220;If you have any information, please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS or stay anonymous by downloading the PBSO app for Apple or Android.&#8221;</p>

<p>As such, perhaps those who beat the rapper up will eventually come to light, and may even face dire consequences for their actions. After footage surfaced of the LA fitness bathroom assault, where the 26-year-old faced attacks from multiple individuals, many in the rap game and beyond spoke out. For example, Charlamagne Tha God said that it was &#8220;<a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/650696-charlamagne-tha-god-says-6ix9ine-attack-was-only-a-matter-of-time" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">only a matter of time</a>,&#8221; and Boosie said that &#8220;<a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/650682-boosie-badazz-on-6ix9ine-attack-snitches-get-stitches" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">snitches get stitches.</a>&#8221; However, the former said that it&#8217;s no laughing matter,  which the latter certainly doesn&#8217;t agree with. Also, some offered words of support in more sympathetic ways.</p>



<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s unfortunate what happened to 6ix9ine,&#8221; Wack 100 <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/650653-wack-100-wishes-good-guy-6ix9ine-a-speedy-recovery" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">shared via Instagram</a>. &#8220;He&#8217;s a good guy. Life is full of lessons. This isn&#8217;t about his so called street situation. This is about decision making on both sides. The ones who filmed and posted themselves will remember this day for years to come. And 69 will now know he has to move accordingly. #staydangerous &amp; don&#8217;t hesitate.
